THAILAND-BANGKOK

It's August as you all know, and I'm currently reminiscing on August 2019, why? well buckle up because it was nothing but an experience of a lifetime, a dream come true and in my case my dream destination for as long as I could remember. I was lucky enough to be accompanied by some very good friends of mine during this trip which made it all the better.

Bangkok the capital of Thailand, a large city known for its vibrate street life, Bangkok welcomes more visitors than any other city in the world and it doesn't take long to realize why. Bangkok is a city of contrasts with action at every turn. Marvel at the gleaming temples, catch a tuk-tuk through the bustling city, or a longtail boat through floating markets.

Are you ready?

The 3 of us finally arrived the evening of the 2nd, with of course a couple of hiccups here and there as we were all on separate flights from different parts of the world I was the first to leave with at least a 3-hour delay which in my case wasn't the greatest as I had 2 flights to take and running halfway across a massive airport yelling please don't leave me wasn't really on my agenda.

Finally arriving safely at our hotel which was located on Khao San Road, we were absolutely overwhelmed by the number of people, it was bar after bar, with hundreds and thousands of people just celebrating life, music blaring in every direction. we all immediately decided that we were checking in changing and have a drink to celebrate what was going to be an unforgettable experience.

The next day we were all up and ready for nothing but a crazy day fullied with adventure, unfortunately, our trip to Bangkok was quite short but roughly about 4 days, but it was okay as we were returning at the end of our crazy adventures across Thailand. The last 4 days have been Epic from seeing the famous Wat Pho temple which is classed first on the list of six temples in Thailand as the highest grade of royal temples. There are over 41000 Temples around Thailand so I could sit here and name the list of temples we saw but id like to not waste your time. We took a longtail fishing boat to the floating markets then ended off with the world-famous Thai massages ( and yes if you were wondering if it was just a rumor they do ask for "special massage" but of course they won't do anything without your permission.)

Rember those bustling nightlife street parties I mentioned, well in the morning it's like nothing even happened those crazy bars turn into restaurants and beautiful street markets where they offer some of the craziest but coolest things under the sun, now this is where I did my souvenir shopping for my family, tried a scorpion, yeah a real-life scorpion, drank some local Thai beer, and the list just continues, when in Bangkok the possibilities are absolutely endless from new city life, to local food, to street parties to learning or at least trying to learn a new language and culture. But unfortunately, that's pretty much Bangkok in a nutshell, and now its time for the next destination Chiangmai, but don't worry Bangkok ill be back shortly.

And as always stay strong keep smiling much love Eve.
